Eduardo Vega de Seoane´s jazzy rhythms ring out from the canvas like cool breezes. Free as a bird, he weightlessly navigates his gentle formations of colour. In doing so he shifts at will from fields of paint to linear elements of drawing and hieroglyph-like statements. His manner of painting is to be associated with Art Informel. The non-geometric and non-figurative form of expression, the absence of space and time and the boundless lightness that resonate in his abstract expressions convey a heartfelt sense of freedom.
Equally non-geometric but thoroughly figurative, Guido Zehetbauer-Salzer sketches the calm power of trees. For him the forest is a serenely sheltering source of inspiration, whose cathedral-like slowness and tranquillity fascinate him. His brushstroke intonates the sound-filled quietude of deconstructionist structures. By means of intense colours he captures the blazing vitality of pure, fleeting experiences. His impressive expressions of the forest are oases in which time provides no guiding anchor.
