Bauch, Alexander Czjzek, Reinhard Diezl, Wilhelm Drach, Alex Klein, Norbert Schröckenfuchs, Wolfgang Stracke, Helmut Swoboda and Guido Zehetbauer-Salzer.
From 1960 till 1983 Emil Toman has taught painting at the Vienna Federal Training and Research Institute of Graphic Arts. He contrived to encourage his young colleagues with enthusiasm in their authenticity. First steps into a potential career as an artist.
The group-exhibition "Emil Toman – painter, mentor, pathfinder" presents the juxtaposition of paintings by Emil Toman, the teacher, sponsor and friend, and current artworks by his companions from different years. The initiative to this exhibition is also an obeisance to the Toman’s passion regarding painting and beyond. Emi Toman would have celebrated his 90th birthday on 1st of April 2013.
